Job Title: Health & Safety Support Technician
Reporting to: Health & Safety Co-ordinator
80% of the duties will be site visits where you will carry out:
- Site observations
- Visit operatives to carry out PPE Checks
- Toolbox Talks
- PAT Testing
- PUWER Inspections
- Stepladder, Hop Up and other Working at Height Inspections
- Carry out Electrical Tester Calibrations and recording
- Face Fit testing
To be successful for this role you must have:
- Good communication skills which will be required between site operatives and the H&S department as well as project managers
- The confidence to approach operatives on site and have H&S discussions – with full support from the H&S department
- Construction industry experience
- Basic technology skills (using Apple iPad or Windows based laptop)

- After a probation period there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to expand on their knowledge via a targeted set of training courses and a salary review
- Salary range is £26,000 – £29,000 depending on experience
- Company vehicle with fuel card
