Bookkeeper
We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude to work, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who will provide bookkeeping support to the Accounting Team, the ability to work well as part of a team is key.
We are happy to consider both full time and part time applications.
Key Responsibilities:
As a bookkeeper you would be responsible for a variety of activities that can include:
• Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed
• Management of sales ledger
• Maintaining accounts, verifying, and posting transactions
• Balancing accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis
• Recording client assets and handling investments
• Managing client invoices & payments
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and banking contacts
• Working closely with accountants to prepare VAT returns
• Preparing schedules, statements, and reports as requested
• Managing & filing relevant documentation
• Solid organisation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work accurately, efficiently, and fast paced to hit deadlines
Advantageous:
• Bookkeeping or accounting qualifications
• Experience in practice
• Knowledge of accounting and practice software
